The San Antonio Brass Band, formed in 2016, is an all-volunteer British-style brass band. In 2018, it became the first Texas band ever to attend NABBA and won 1st Place in the First Section. Dr. Matthew Mireles, Chair of St. Mary's University Department of Music, serves as Music Director.
