About
Dublin Metro Brass is the most recent addition to the Dublin Community Bands family, having been formed in 2018. Dublin Metro Brass provides an opportunity for members to study challenging brass band literature, to compete locally and nationally, and to bring quality entertainment to the community. Recent highlights include placing third in the Third Section of the 2023 North American Brass Band Championships and second at the 2024 Ohio Brass Arts Festival.

Wil Myers
Wil Myers currently serves as the program coordinator for Rogues Hollow Regiment Drum and Bugle Corps, a DCI All-Age corps and has been with the group since its inception in 2015. He holds a bachelor in Music Education from the University of Akron, where he studied bass trombone under Dr. Jim Albrecht and Dr. Elisabeth Shafer, jazz techniques under Jack Shantz and conducting techniques under Dr. Galen Karriker. Wil has served as both a tenor and bass trombone player for the band for the past two years. He is excited to lead Dublin Metro Brass through the competitive season this year.
