Accompanists

You have two opportunities to secure an accompanist should you need one -
 

1) If you would like to arrange for an accompanist from Indiana University Southeast for the solo contest, please contact Dr. Joanna Goldstein at jgoldste@ius.edu. The cost per contestant is $45 for a ½ hr. rehearsal plus the contest.  Dr. Goldstein will put you in contact with a pianist from the university and you will then make arrangements regarding music and payment of the fee directly with the pianist

This deadline is important for contest scheduling by the controller and will allow sufficient time for the pianist to learn the repertoire. Should you have a sudden last minute need for a pianist, we will do what we can, but we cannot guarantee availability.

2) Alex Thio may be available to accompany solo entrants for NABBA again this year.

If you are need to hire an accompanist, he will be there on Thursday to rehearse and Friday to perform.
